for the International Children's Drawing Contest "The Dream Car"

 
(1) General Provisions
 
1.1. The International Children's Drawing Contest "The Dream Car" (hereinafter referred to as the Contest) is organized to support and foster children's creativity, stimulate imagination, promote engineering fantasy, and create a collection of children's ideas for the future Museum of Children's Imagination.
1.2. The Contest is non-commercial, and participation is free of charge.
1.3. The Contest is organized by artist and concept author Alexandra Nikolaevna Mamedova (oxAlexeeva), with the support of volunteers and partners.
1.4. The Contest is open internationally and conducted in an online format.
1.5. These Regulations serve as the primary document governing the procedures and conditions of the Contest.
 
(2) Objectives and Tasks of the Contest
 
2.1. Objectives of the Contest:
  • Support and develop children's creative abilities.
  • Stimulate creative thinking and engineering imagination.
  • Build a collection of unique children's ideas for the future Museum of Children's Imagination.
  • Inspire adults to support children's dreams and initiatives.
2.2. Tasks of the Contest:
  • Create opportunities for children's self-expression through visual arts.
  • Promote innovative thinking among the younger generation.
  • Unite children from different countries through creativity and a shared theme.
  • Advance the value of children's imagination in society.
 
(3) Contest Participants
 
3.1. Children aged 2 to 15 years from any country, regardless of nationality or place of residence, are invited to participate.
3.2. Participation is individual. Each child may submit only one entry.
3.3. Participation is facilitated through parents, legal guardians, or educators who handle registration, submission of entries, and consent to the Contest's conditions.
 
(4) Contest Categories
 
4.1. The Contest includes the following categories:
  • Most Creative Car: An entry showcasing the most original and unconventional car concept.
  • Family Project: Innovative Engineers: A drawing created collaboratively by a child and family members, reflecting joint creativity and engineering ideas.
  • Best AI-Drawn Car: An entry created using artificial intelligence tools (with the child's involvement).
4.2. Participants may submit an entry in only one category.
 
(5) Participation Requirements
 
5.1. Contest Theme: "The Dream Car" — a depiction of a fantastical car based on the participant's imagination.
5.2. Artistic Medium: Free choice (pencils, markers, paints, collages, digital drawing, etc.).
5.3. Submission Format:
  • Digital file in JPEG or PNG format.
  • Image quality: Minimum 300 dpi, well-scanned or photographed in good lighting conditions.
  • Maximum file size: 10 MB.
5.4. File Naming Requirements:
  • The file name must follow the template: LastName_FirstName_WorkTitle.
  • Examples:
    • Ivanova_Alisa_FlyingCactus.jpg
  • Default file names (e.g., image123.jpg, scan2.png) are not permitted.
  • For multiple entries within a family project, files should be numbered, e.g., Petrov_Maxim_DreamTruck_1.png.
5.5. Entries are submitted via the official Contest website (https://thedreamcar.org/) and/or a designated submission form provided by the organizers.
 
(6) Contest Stages
 
6.1. Submission Period: June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
6.2. Preliminary Selection: January 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026. Selection is conducted using artificial intelligence algorithms and a volunteer team.
6.3. Jury Evaluation: March 1, 2026, to April 30, 2026.
6.4. Announcement of Winners: June 1, 2026.
6.5. Note: Dates are subject to change by the organizers. All updates will be published on the official Contest website.
 
(7) Evaluation Criteria
 
7.1. Entries are judged based on the following criteria:
  • Originality of Idea: Uniqueness and innovative approach of the concept.
  • Emotional and Visual Impact: Ability to convey emotions and create a vivid image.
  • Boldness and Imagination: Degree of unconventionality and creative freedom.
  • Visual Execution: Expressiveness, composition, and color scheme (technical skill is not prioritized).
 
(8) Contest Jury
 
8.1. The final selection of winners is made by an independent jury comprising professional artists, designers, engineers, and representatives of the organizers.
8.2. Preliminary selection is conducted using artificial intelligence algorithms with the support of a volunteer team.
8.3. The jury composition is published on the official Contest website.
 
(9) Awards and Prizes
 
9.1. Winners and prize recipients in each category will receive:
  • Diplomas and participant certificates.
  • Art-related prizes (art supplies, books, souvenirs).
  • Opportunities to participate in online or offline exhibitions of the best entries.
  • A chance for their drawing concept to be realized (e.g., as a sketch, 3D model, or car concept).
9.2. Detailed information about prizes is available in the "Prizes" section on the Contest website (https://thedreamcar.org/).
 
(10) Legal Provisions
 
10.1. By participating in the Contest, participants (via parents, guardians, or educators) consent to the processing of personal data (name, age, country, contact details) for Contest purposes.
10.2. The organizers receive non-exclusive rights to use the entries for Contest-related purposes (including publications, exhibitions, the Museum of Children's Imagination, and media materials).
10.3. Copyright of the entries remains with the participants.
10.4. The organizers are not responsible for third-party copyright violations.
10.5. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the Contest's conditions or contain inappropriate content.
 
(11) Registration Process
 
11.1. Eligibility: Children aged 2 to 15 years from any country.
11.2. Registration Process:
  • Registration is completed online via the official Contest website (https://thedreamcar.org/) or a designated form.
  • A parent, guardian, or educator submits the entry and completes the registration form, providing:
    • Child’s first and last name.
    • Age.
    • Country and city of residence.
    • Title of the work (optional).
    • Category.
    • Contact details of the adult (email, phone).
    • Drawing file (JPEG/PNG, up to 10 MB).
  • The adult confirms full agreement with the Contest's conditions.

13.2. Participation in the Contest signifies full acceptance of these Regulations.
13.3. The Contest is conducted in a spirit of openness, creativity, and support for children's initiatives.
