1. General Provisions1.1. The International Children’s Drawing Contest “The Dream Car” (hereinafter referred to as the “Contest”) is organized to support and develop children’s creativity, stimulate imagination, promote engineering fantasy, and create a collection of children’s ideas for the future Museum of Children’s Imagination.
1.2. The Contest is non-commercial and participation is free of charge.
1.3. The Contest Organizer is artist and project author Alexandra Mamedova (0xAlexeeva), with the support of volunteers and partners.
1.4. The Contest is open internationally and conducted online.
1.5. These Rules constitute the main document governing the procedures and conditions of the Contest.
2. Goals and Objectives of the Contest2.1. Goals- To support and develop children’s creative abilities.
- To encourage creative thinking and engineering imagination.
- To create a collection of unique children’s ideas for the future Museum of Children’s Imagination.
- To inspire adults to support children’s dreams and initiatives.
2.2. Objectives- To provide children with opportunities for self-expression through visual art.
- To promote innovative thinking among younger generations.
- To unite children from different countries through creativity and a shared theme.
- To highlight the value of children’s imagination in society.
3. Contest Participants3.1. Children aged 2 to 15 years from any country in the world, regardless of nationality or place of residence, are invited to participate.
3.2. Participation is individual. Each child may submit only one entry.
3.3. Participation is carried out through parents, legal guardians, or teachers, who are responsible for registration, submission of artworks, and acceptance of the Contest terms.
4. Participation Conditions4.1. Contest Theme: “The Dream Car” — a depiction of a fantastic vehicle created from the participant’s imagination.
4.2. Technique: Any artistic medium is permitted (pencils, markers, paints, collage, digital drawing, etc.).
4.3. Submission Format:
- Electronic file in JPEG or PNG format.
- Image quality: minimum 300 dpi; the drawing must be clearly scanned or photographed in good lighting conditions.
- Maximum file size: 10 MB.
4.4. File Requirements:
The file name should follow the format:
Surname_Name_TitleOfArtwork
Example:
Ivanova_Alice_Flying_Cactus.jpg
Default file names (e.g., image123.jpg, scan2.png) are not recommended.
4.5. Entries must be uploaded through the official Contest website:

5. Contest Timeline5.1. Submission Period:
June 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025
5.2. Preliminary Selection:
January 1, 2026 – March 31, 2026
The preliminary selection is conducted using artificial intelligence algorithms and a volunteer team.
5.3. Jury Evaluation:
March 1, 2026 – April 30, 2026
5.4. Winners Announcement:
Originally scheduled for June 1, 2026; postponed to July 1, 2026.
5.5. Note:
The organizers reserve the right to adjust the schedule. Any changes will be published on the official Contest website.
6. Evaluation CriteriaEntries will be assessed according to the following criteria:
Originality and Meaning of the Idea
- How unique is the vehicle concept?
- Does it have a clear purpose or mission?
- Is it understandable why it exists?
Integrity and Thoughtfulness of the Design
- Is there an internal logic to the design?
- Are the elements connected meaningfully?
- Does it feel like a coherent system rather than a random collection of details?
Boldness, Imagination, and Visual Storytelling
- Does the work demonstrate unconventional thinking?
- Does it create a memorable image?
Visual Expression
- How strong and coherent is the composition?
- Are color and form used effectively?
Technical skill is not a priority.
The final assessment is based on the overall professional impression, taking all criteria into account.
7. Contest Jury7.1. The final selection of winners is carried out by an independent jury consisting of professional artists, designers, engineers, and representatives of the organizers.
7.2. Preliminary selection is conducted using artificial intelligence algorithms and with the participation of volunteers.
7.3. The jury members will be published on the official Contest website.
8. Awards and Prizes8.1. Winners and prize recipients may receive:
- Diplomas and participation certificates.
- Art-related prizes (creative kits, books, souvenirs).
- Opportunities to participate in online or offline exhibitions of selected works.
- A chance to see their idea brought closer to reality (for example, as a sketch, 3D model, or concept vehicle).
8.2. Detailed information about prizes will be published in the “Prizes” section of the Contest website:
https://thedreamcar.org/9. Legal Provisions9.1. By participating in the Contest, participants (through their parents, guardians, or teachers) consent to the processing of personal data (name, age, country, contact information) for the purposes of organizing and conducting the Contest.
9.2. The organizers receive a non-exclusive right to use submitted artworks for purposes related to the Contest, including publications, exhibitions, development of the Museum of Children’s Imagination, and media materials.
9.3. Copyright remains with the participants.
9.4. The organizers are not responsible for copyright infringements committed by third parties.
9.5. The organizers reserve the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with the Contest rules or contain inappropriate content.
9.6. The Contest will take place only if more than 1,000 entries are received by the submission deadline. If fewer than 1,000 entries are submitted, the Contest will be postponed to the following year, and updated dates will be published on the official website.

A parent, guardian, or teacher uploads the artwork and completes the registration form, providing:

- Confirmation of full acceptance of the Contest Rules.
